A Flute comes in three parts and is used by blowing into the mouth piece and using finger holes to control the sound
A Recorder is played via a mouth piece and again is used via finger holes to control the sound.
A Piccolo is like the flute except it is smaller and is either made of wood or silver , the pitch of a piccolo is much than the oboe.
A Clarinet has seven pieces and a reed that you put together and most upper keys are operated by the left hand and the lower keys by the right hand
The English Horn is very similar to that of a oboe ,at one time the english horn did have curves and shapes but the modern ones are now straight . It has a curve in the mouthpiece enabling the person to hold close to there bodies and has been known to be a difficult instrument to learn and looks like a extra long flute
The Bassoon is a double reed instrument which curves around a U tube.The top of the instrument projects above the players head. It is quite a strange looking instrument .
